Compass Detox’s staff of industry-leading medical, therapeutic, and facilities professionals hold your health and safety up to the highest standards of our industry every day at our facility. We have enacted several levels of health and pandemic related protocols that meet and surpass the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the World Health Organization.

Our already stringent admission and overall medical protocols have been strengthened even further during this unprecedented time within the healthcare community. We are doing everything within our considerable abilities to ensure that your only focus within our facility will be recovery from addiction, and the sober journey ahead following that recovery.

Our readiness

All patients entering our facility will receive an FDA approved rapid response Covid-19 test. This test is also available to any patients within our facilities who exhibit signs or symptoms of Covid-19. Results of the test are confidential and protected by HIPAA Laws.

All staff are monitored daily and are required to stay home should they exhibit symptoms.

All nonessential outings and visitations to our facility are currently paused.

Our facilities teams are building upon our already stringent, established cleanliness regimen by ensuring that every potential transmission area is thoroughly disinfected routinely, and monitored for additional needs beyond that amped up routine.

Our dining services team continues their excellent work of ensuring that all dining activities within our facility are safe and sterile.

These, along with all of our other stringent protocol, will help to ensure that our facility remains a safe haven for addiction recovery.

Should anyone within our facility, or having any association to it, test positive for Covid-19, our doctors and nurses will immediately institute our plan of action to contain and control the potential for any spread, and ensure the comfort of anyone who may be affected by that diagnosis.

Beyond that, our medical staff continues to monitor the ever changing environment surrounding this Covid-19 pandemic. As understanding of this pandemic evolves within our medical and governmental community on a whole, so to do our procedures and requirements here at Compass Detox.

Protecting yourself in the community
The CDC lays out some very helpful, basic guidelines meant to help you stay safe during this time.

Those guidelines include:

  • Wearing a mask whenever you are in public and unable to maintain six feet of distance (please note, many communities now require a mask at all times in public, be sure to check your local guidelines and rules).
  • Avoid contact with others as much as possible, especially handshakes, etc.
  • Do not touch your nose, mouth, or eyes.
  • Disinfect surfaces that are used on a regular basis frequently using a disinfecting household cleaner.
  • Avoid going out if you are exhibiting signs and symptoms – especially cough and fever.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, or utilize a hand sanitizer.
